FIBC bulk bag Safety factor 5:1 testing for our European clients in our factory
For bulk bags containing general cargo, the mechanical properties are mainly tested by the overhead test. The container bag is loaded with several times the contents and repeatedly raised. Whether there is any abnormality in the contents and the bag body, and whether the connection is damaged, one of the important indicators is the "safety factor (SF)".
"Safety factor" is the ratio between the maximum bearing capacity of the product and the rated design load. The United States and Europe have strict requirements on the "safety factor" of FIBCs. The "safety factor" of the bulk bag is mainly determined by its lifting and cyclic lifting tests. The testing standards and technical requirements for the "safety factor" of FIBCs are showing the safety working loading weight and the safety factor for the bulk bags.
Today, according to one of our European clients require, we had made a lifting testing for 1250 kgs at 5:1 factor testing and the detailed process as following:
1. Firstly, we filled the bags with sands and total weight 1850kgs. To filled full of the bags is to make sure the whole bag bears a balance strength to every side and corner of the bag.
2. Secondly, Using the testing machine to lift up the bag and add pressure to the whole bag up to the strength 43.12KN and stay 5 minutes without break.
3. Finally, Drop down the FIBC bags and make sure the bags loaded on land safely. Then printing out the testing report.
Safety is always the first aim no matter when processing of production or transportation and delivery of loaded bags. Our company will do the testing report for each order to make sure all the bags are satisfied our clients with good quality.
Different clients have various requirements and also different products should accompany with different technique design. Our engineer will give you professional suggestions for the packaging and delivery of bulk products.
