How much high temperature can the inner and outer bags of the FIBC withstand
Container bag raw materials
The container bag is made of polypropylene and polyethylene resin as raw materials, the production volume is less than 3m³, and the safe load-bearing mass is less than or equal to 3 tons of flexible bulk containers.
Polypropylene
Melting point is 165℃, softening around 155℃;
The operating temperature range is -30°C~140°C.
It is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, salt solutions and a variety of organic solvents below 80°C, and can be decomposed under high temperature and oxidation.
Polyethylene
Melting point 85 ℃ to 110 ℃, with excellent low temperature resistance;
The lowest operating temperature can reach -100°C to -70°C, with good chemical stability and resistance to most acids and alkalis (not resistant to acids with oxidizing properties)
What is the temperature of the FIBC?
What is the operating temperature range of FIBCs made of polypropylene and polyethylene?
According to the national standard GB/T 10454-2000, the cold resistance test temperature of FIBC is -35℃.
Place the container bag in a thermostat at -35°C for more than 2 hours, then take out the test product and fold it in half to 180 degrees, and check for damage, cracks and other abnormalities in the base fabric material.
The heat resistance test temperature is 80°C.
A load of 9.8 N was applied to the test product and placed in an oven at 80°C for 1 hour. After taking it out, the two overlapping test pieces were separated immediately, and the surface was checked for adhesion, cracks and other abnormal conditions.
According to the test standard, the container bag can be used in the environment of -35℃ to 80℃, but it is not recommended to use it in the high temperature and low temperature environment for a long time.
With the development of FIBCs, some factories need high-temperature-resistant lined bags. The most used bituminous bag is the bitumen bag; the production temperature of bitumen is above 130 degrees, and the packaging temperature must be around 110 degrees. Our company can provide professional high temperature resistant linings to meet customer needs.
